St James Foundation Greatest Need Fund - Unrestricted gifts which are contributed to assist St James Healthcare with its current needs to ensure patient satisfaction is met. These funds are directed by the Foundations Board towards the most pressing needs of the hospital.
The St James Legacy Project - Established by the friends of St James Healthcare who are committed to ensuring that St James continues to be here for generations to come. This project will raise a permanent endowment for St James through present and estate gifts to help St James' world-class doctors and nurses provide exceptional care to the next generation.
St James Nurses Alumni Scholarship Fund - This program provides scholarships to students nurses who has completed two (2) years of study and received an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Degree from Montana Tech and have shown a commitment to further their education and wish to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Completion Degree at Montana Tech.
The Bern & Ruth Dennehy Healthcare Scholarship Program - This program provides recognition and financial support to students entering any healthcare field in an effort to set the highest healthcare standards. This scholarship program helps seniors in high school who want to pursue a career in a medical field fulfill their dreams.
Participate for Life - Established to offer financial assistance to individuals throughout Southwest Montana who needs to travel out of town to be with a loved one who needs specialized medical treatment not available in Butte. This program also supports those patents in the outlying areas that have to travel to Butte for medical treatment but do not have the resources available to afford the cost related to traveling to Butte.
Academy for Advanced Nursing Workforce Solutions - This program is a collective effort between the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Northwest Health Foundation to create new partnerships with local foundations to encourage investment in nursing workforce solutions. This program, an 8 week program for nursing students focusing on success skills which are not typically taught in traditional nursing education programs but yet are quite critical to developing a highly motivated, well trained, and professional nursing workforce.
Community Share - Established by employees to help employees in a time of need. This fund provides financial support for food, lodging, utility costs, medical costs, and other necessities an employee may need during difficult times.
